Graham LOVED cherries!

As a child he went bird scaring in the cherry orchard just below the Nap on Dovers Hill. He always bought cherries whenever he could and always asked me to get him some when I went shopping. You could always tell where Graham was in cherry season, you just had to follow the cherry stones!

When his car went into Cutts' for a service he was always asked why his driver's side wing mirror was studded with cherry stones - he used to throw them out of his window but the wind would bring them back to land on the mirror! As a tribute to him we bought a box of Herefordshire cherries for the wake.

Next up: the Great Car Chase!
